From salon floor to education leadership, Darren's career has always been within the hair and beauty industry. His journey began straight out of school, working in salons before earning his license and embarking on a global adventure styling hair aboard luxury cruise liners.
Returning to London, he transitioned into hair education, sharing his passion and expertise with aspiring stylists. He soon found a home within the L'Oréal Group, and in 2019, seized the opportunity to lead L'Oréal Professionnel education across the USA, relocating to New York City with his family.
In the summer of 2024, Darren was thrilled to take on the role of Vice President of Education for Redken USA marking a full circle moment, as the very first salon he worked in was Redken.
